We finally decided that we wanted to try a cruise and our niece Oanh kept saying how she never had any fun or good vacations so we took her along with us. Aside from some a weird rash she got after scuba diving, I think she finally had a good vacation!

we hired a cab driver to take us around santa tomas, guatemala, just to see what things looked like away from the super touristy port area. the original goal was to go buy some cheap coffee, but after the 2.5 hour cab fare and the tip to the driver, it wasn\'t really cheap coffee anymore. |
lots of banana and coconut trees everywhere. both dole and chiquita have huge processing plants in guatemala. |

this was the second of the two rappellings and was a shorter drop than the first one. |
belize city has no dock, so all the ships have to drop anchor about 2 miles out and you take small tender boats to the shore. |
